Ultimate Beauty is an e-commerce company that puts people first. Matteo Lombardi, the founder, has been looking for products to sell around the world and grew the company from his home office to a remote giant that sells millions of dollars of products per year.
The retreat theme was "Ultimate Connection". This was the team's first gathering in person and the focus was on creating personal bonds. For Ultimate Beauty, hosting a retreat in the Serbian mountains was a great way to build a sense of community and get everyone on the same page with the company's vision.
Recognizing the importance of personal connections in building a cohesive team, the retreat's purpose was to bond. Coming together in an unconventional setting, the understanding and strengthened relationships started forming.
Being new to the whole concept of bringing the company together, the Ultimate Beauty team needed expert guidance on how to structure and where to hold their retreat.
